BUILDING MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR EMPIRES IN THE SKY

Travel used to stress me out.
In fact,
Everything about travel used to stress me out.
Specifically, the time spent on planes used to be super stressful for me!
What was stressful?
Namely:
What it would cost.
And the time that it would mean that I had to take away from my business.
(In the past, when I stepped away from my businesses, everything stopped…)

Then one day I decided to make some new, powerful decisions around travel.

I decided that traveling business and first class was a priority,
As it meant that I wasn’t super jet lagged and exhausted, with a body that ached for days.
I also decided that when I was traveling,
Some really cool things would ALWAYS take place.

Now,
Before I jump into that,
Lets get clear on one thing:

Your external reality is created from within.
Always.
It’s your thoughts, your beliefs and your internal conditioning,
That directly impacts the reality that you live into on the outside.

Knowing that,
In order to change not only how I travelled,
But what happened when I travelled,
I had to start within,
By making some new decisions:

Here’s an EXACT snap from my mindset work just over a year ago:

I always travel in style.
Business class is my minimum standard.
I choose to believe that I belong in those seats.
When I am traveling, powerful things always happen.
In the sky, I have my biggest mindset shifts.
In the sky, I have my most epic content ideas.
In the sky, is when I have my most profound breakthroughs.
In the sky, I unleash my most powerful thoughts.
In the sky, money flows to me easily and effortlessly.
In the sky, I manifest at a rapid speed.
In the sky, I make a decision, and shit shifts around me.
In the sky, I always make more money than what it has cost me to travel.
In the sky, is when I can truly tap into my intuition.
In the sky, is when multi million dollar ideas flow to me with ease.
In the sky, is when shit shifts!
Magic happens in the sky!

And so it is.
Simply because I didn't just think the above once,
But I wrote it into reality over and over and over again.
And I focused on it.
I breathed life into it.
I tapped into the energy of it.
I felt the expansive abidance of it.
And as a RESULT of combining all of those things,
The above snap,
That was once just a dream,
Is now a hard and fast reality.

Right now,
I’m an hour out after leaving Brunei,
En route to Melbourne,
(This will be posted when I land)
And already,
I have over 11 insanely cool ideas that have flowed to me,
That I know will massively accelerate my income and my impact in this world.

So lets get clear on this:
This is happening RIGHT now,
NOT because I know the “perfect” business strategy,
NOT because I’m thinking about HOW can I create money,
NOT because I’m trying to join the dots to get some sort of result,
But because I know how to go WITHIN,
In order to create, develop or accelerate any business.

I believe that business is always created from within.
And I’m not saying that you can’t create business the opposite way,
By grabbing at the “perfect” strategy,
Or the “right” way.
You absolutely can do that, and it will get you some sort of result.

However,
If you want to play a game with a lot more ease,
A lot more grace,
And tap into much bigger results more rapidly.
Then you must learn to create from within.

And trust me,
At times it can feel shaky,
And it can feel odd,
And it can feel like you’re literally doing the opposite to what everyone else is doing.
But if you stick with it,
And trust,
And flow,
You WILL get results.

I’m living proof that multi million dollar empires can be created from within,
And guess what,
They can also be created in the sky.
In fact,
It’s a lot more fun when they ARE created in the sky!

I WIPED AWAY THE TEARS BECAUSE I KNEW THEY WOULDN'T HELP

After a long flight from LA through to Malaysia,
I arrived at my hotel late Friday night,
Or, 1.30am Saturday morning to be exact…

When I was checking in the lady said,
“We are so sorry ma’am, but we do not have a suite left with an ocean view,
Only the city view,
Is that going to be okay?”

“That’s more than okay”,
I replied,
Super eager just to get to my bed!

I got up to the room,
Dropped my bags,
And pulled the curtains open to look at the view.

I couldn’t see much as it was 2am now,
And there weren’t many lights.

Exhausted,
I crawled into bed to sleep,
Although jet lag had a different plan for me.

When the sun was up a few hours after that,
I rose also,
I hadn’t slept,
But I needed to summon some big energy to speak on stage in a few hours.

I popped on some loud music,
And began to go about my morning routine.

I walked out into the lounge,
And for the first time,
I saw the view.

I stood there staring at it,
For what honestly felt like hours,
And I felt silent tears run down my face.

On the right hand side,
There were a stack of really nice buildings,
Apartments by the look of it,
A shopping mall,
And a little bit further to the right,
Was the ocean.

There was a highway in the middle,
Then to the left,
Was the complete polar opposite to the right.

Houses,
If you could call them that,
With rusty tin roofs,
Dirt,
Rubbish,
Dust,
Everywhere.
Most didn’t have windows,
Some didn’t have doors.

And the people,
The people,
I could see the people everywhere.
No one wearing shoes,
Kids playing in the dirty water,
And smoke everywhere,
From obvious rubbish that was being burned off.

Now I’ve been in many countries where that is the norm.
So it wasn’t that,
That was hitting me.

It was seeing the two worlds side by side,
Contrasted,
So far removed from each other,
Yet only walking distance to each other.

It was literally like a huge heaviness of depth,
Responsibility,
Sadness,
And then hope,
Hit me all at one.

Regardless of how the world has ended up like this,
There’s one thing I know for sure:

In each of these worlds there are people.
PEOPLE.
People with hearts,
And souls,
With dreams,
With love within them.

Brushing away my tears,
I realised that my tears weren’t going to fix this,
Far from it.

However speaking about this,
Then deciding to create change around this,
That’s what would make a difference.

More than ever right now,
The world needs some loving.
And it starts with us, collectively.

When I first started in business at the ripe old age of 18,
(And I mean seriously started, beyond small kid “ventures”),
I thought I had to be something I wasn’t.
I thought I had to be older,
Brighter,
Smarter,
More serious,
More something.

And after making those decisions,
I started to morph into, that.

Then when I started speaking and coaching,
It got even worse.
All of a sudden I realised that people were looking up to me,
Following me,
Buying from me personally.

And SURELY I wasn’t good enough,
To just show up as me,
So I made some more decisions:

I need to be more professional,
I can’t be silly - definitely don’t be silly,
I need to dress a certain way,
And I need people to take me seriously,
Because,
I AM serious about this.

And piece by piece,
I shut off parts of myself.

The silly part,
The fun part,
The part who deep down wants to be seen and heard,
The part who wants to perform,
The slightly dorky part,
The part who won beauty pageants and was a professional model,
Because I was a COACH now,
And coaches don’t “do” that.

I hid all of my modelling photos that were on Facebook,
Removed the images of me drumming in various bands,
Ensured that I always had makeup on when shooting a video,
And if caught in a moment of hysterical laughter,
That certainly wasn’t see anywhere publicly,
Because hey,
I might look silly…

And piece by piece,
Moment by moment,
I began to fade away.

On the outside it looked glamorous,
Fun,
Successful,
And people envied my life.

But on the inside,
Something was missing,
Something wasn’t stacking up,
Something didn’t make sense.

And as my “success” increased,
I continued to die inside,
Getting further and further away from who I was at my core.

And one day I snapped.
I remember it so clearly.
I was in Bali on a 3 week holiday,
Before I lived location free.

And having a chance to stop and take a look from the inside out,
It hit me.

What the hell was I doing?

I was standing there talking about truth,
About authenticity,
About self love,
About how powerful people are,

Yet I was standing there completely unauthentically,
Hiding myself away from the world.

And in that moment I made a decision.
A decision to bring ALL of me to the table.
The good,
The not so good,
The goofy,
The sexy,
The fun,
The geeky,
The ranty,
The composed,
The serious,
The down right stupid,
And more.

I made a decision that I would start showing up as ME,
And not in a cliche way,
I mean the word ME with total depth.
Total commitment,
Total sincerity.

And it wasn’t easy,
In fact,
It scared me shitless,
And often still does.

But I choose to push through,
I choose to ditch the filters,
And ditch the social norms,
And ditch the opinions of others,
Ditch with is considered is right,
Or wrong,
Or not the correct way to do something…

Now when I shifted,
Everything shifted.
My impact,
My income,
My visibility,
My business,
And most importantly,
My happiness.

Although it can be scary,
Or awkward,
Or hard to stand in your own light,
TRUST ME when I say,
That there is honestly no better feeling,
Than going to bed every night,
KNOWING that you are operating daily from a space of pure TRUTH!

And guess what,
The quest never stops…
As you evolve,
If you are committed to showing up in your truth,
You will constantly push yourself to go deeper and deeper, and deeper.

This is the exact work that I do with my private clients,

And again,
It’s not easy,
And it’s a journey,

I can see it in your eyes,
The flames,
The burning desires,

The yearning,
The determination…

I can feel it when your heart beats,
It’s electric,
It’s passionate,
It’s addictive.

And I can also feel the tension,
The pull,
Between wanting to hide,

Why are you playing small?

Or to self doubt,

In fact,
That is SELFISH.
Because there are people who NEED to hear you,
They NEED to hear what you have to say,
They NEED you to give them permission to shine,
They NEED you to perform as you were born to.

Yet you continue to allow yourself to be pulled.
One minute your crown is on,
The next it’s hidden in the back of the wardrobe,
And if you’re walking around saying you want to impact millions,
Then that is NO okay.

It’s all right there.
So close that I can nearly see it,
And you can nearly touch it,
In fact,
You can taste it.

But trust me when I say,
It will continue to remain JUST that far away,
Unless you truly begin to step up.

It’s time.
It’s your time.
Time to unleash,
And set your soul on fire.

You were BORN for this.

Now get up,
Focus,
Take a deep breath,
And carry on super star…
